The 2012 Exporter of the Year Winners

ThinkGlobal Inc. has awarded the 2012 Exporter of the Year Award to American companies in 13 business categories.

ThinkGlobal is a print and online publishing company in Northampton, Mass., that publishes Commercial News USA, the official export promotion magazine of the U.S. Department of Commerce, along with other publications and websites. Commercial News USA is a catalog-style magazine that reaches more than a quarter million readers in 178 countries worldwide.

The awards will be presented to one U.S. company in each of 12 industry categories. This year’s award winners include:

The Fremont Company, based in Fremont, Ohio, was established in 1905 and manufactures, markets and distributes food products to customers worldwide. Heat Trace Products LLC, based in Leominster, Massachusetts, produces cables that have been mainstays in low temperature maintenance and freeze protection applications for over 30 years. In 2006, they won the Massachusetts Exporter of the Year Award, and in 2010, they were named a leader in international trade by the Associated Industries of Massachusetts International Business Council. The ThinkGlobal Exporter of the Year Awards are given to one U.S. company in each of the magazine's industry categories.
